Market and solutions

PAPER UNIT

Colour doesn't determine the physical properties a finished paper might require, but it definitely affects the 1st impression we have of it.

At ROBAMA, we help our customers to add visual value to their final product, giving it a unique touch.

Colours shouldn’t be a problem, we always offer simple and effective colouring solutions. Our goal is to provide a  “ready to use” dye.

Brief technical explanation of our dye range:

  • TRUPOCOR: Anionic direct dyestuffs with good substantivity on sized and unsized paper and bleached, unbleached and mechanical pulp. Low colored wastewater, good fastness to water, steam and light.
  • TRUPOBASE:Cationic dyestuffs that provide a strong performance. Good water, steam & rubbing resistance are achieved with minimal dyeing of wastewater.

CHEMICALS

When producing a deep colour, a fixative must be used.

There are two main reasons to use a fixative: one is to avoid heavy coloured backwaters and the other is to maximize the affinity of the paper fiber to the dye.

Dyes

Napkins, kitchen rolls, paper towels, paper tablecloth... are better with a touch of colour. Almost same dyes used in graphic paper can be used for napkins, towels… but we recommend specially those who fulfill main current regulations such as EU Eco Label, Blue Angel and Nordic Swan.
